Can we implement more systematic feedback and monitoring for schools?
Can we implement some more systematic feedback and monitoring for the schools? Systematic and transparent tools would empower the administration and parent communities to continually improve.
I think there is a real opportunity to create a more consistent feedback loop between the district and our community. It can help us recognize and reinforce what’s working, identify areas for improvement earlier, and strengthen communication and trust between the district and the families it serves.
Families should have a clear way to share feedback and know that it has been received and considered. At the same time, the district should have a better way to understand what families are experiencing across our schools, spot broader trends, and respond with context about what it is hearing and learning. That includes understanding what’s working particularly well, what we should continue to build on, and where there may be opportunities to improve.
