Every decision I make starts with one question: will this leave Orinda in a better position? That means making thoughtful long-term choices, earning trust through transparency and accountability, and building genuine partnership with families, so OUSD continues to be one of California’s premier public school districts.

About John
Leadership Through Service
For more than two decades, I've built organizations, solved complex problems, and brought people together around shared goals. Those experiences taught me the importance of thoughtful leadership, long-term planning, and earning trust through open communication.
As the parent of two children in OUSD, I've become deeply involved in our schools, most recently serving as President of the Wagner Ranch Parents Club. Working alongside parents, teachers, staff, administrators, and district leadership has strengthened my appreciation for what makes OUSD exceptional.
My family chose Orinda because of its schools and community. Serving on the School Board is my opportunity to give back to the district that has already given so much to our family.
